This is Annie, as we last saw her 10 days ago. She lived in Decorah for 8 years, then moved to Rachel in San Diego. She arrived in Rachel's life just before Ben did. We were shocked at how much Annie had aged between Thanksgiving and May. She had gone from being an old dog to frail elderly. She had a very bad episode earlier this week and we all knew it was time for her to go. Big hugs to Rachel and Ben for what they went through in the last few days.
