Happy Victoria Day

This is supposedly the beginning of the summer season, but we still find lots of closed attractions. However, that is offset by the fact that we don't have many other tourists on the road with us. We have been without internet for a few days, but hope to have it tonight. We are pulled over at something that says "Public Internet Access" in front of a Visitor Information Centre (closed), but I think I'm just grabbing wireless from a neighbor here in Inverness. I'll write up our great day on Sunday the next time I have a chance. We are headed for the Cabot Trail around the northern reaches of Cape Breton Island. The promise is that it will be much like the Scottish Highlands. Stay turned...
